About Louisa
Louisa is a distinguished Sports Physiotherapist with over 20 years of expertise. With a remarkable professional background, Louisa has dedicated the past 14 years to the Sydney Roosters and, more recently, the Newcastle Knights, where she served as the NRL team Physiotherapist (Head of Rehab). Notably, she also cared for the NSW State of Origin Team in 2019 and previously worked with underage state Rugby League teams. In 2021, Louisa made history as the first female ‘on field medico’ for the NRL, pioneering advancements in the sport.
Throughout her career, Louisa has collaborated with top-tier athletes and esteemed Sports Physicians and Surgeons, gaining unconventional treatment and rehabilitation tools. Each rehabilitation program is uniquely tailored to individual needs.

Armed with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Newcastle, Alison graduated with Honours and proudly earned her place on the 2022 College Commendation List.
Throughout her career, Alison has had the privilege of collaborating with seasoned physiotherapists, honing her skills in conducting thorough assessments, precise diagnoses, and personalized treatment plans for a diverse range of musculoskeletal conditions. With a strong background in dance, she has a profound understanding of unique movements and physical demands, which seamlessly integrates into Physiotherapy & Pilates.
Alison also boasts an experienced sports background, having completed an internship with the Newcastle Jets Football team, specializing in sports-related injuries and rehabilitation. About Rosie
Meet Rosie, a dedicated and compassionate physiotherapist committed to delivering high-quality healthcare with a smile. Graduating from the University of Canberra with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2022, Rosie’s career is marked by her interest in sport and a fascination of the power and resilience of the human body.
Her professional experience spans a diverse spectrum, from local clubs to elite sports including rugby league, rugby union, soccer, netball, and AFL. Rosie’s dedication to understanding and managing acute and chronic injuries was honed during an enriching internship with the Brumbies Women’s Rugby Union team, where she expanded her expertise in injury management.
Currently working as the physiotherapist for the Knights Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership team, Rosie attends training and games to support the girls get the most out of every moment.
At PHYX, Rosie enjoys the variety of patients but holds a special interest in pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, soft tissue injuries, and sports-related shoulder pain. With a meticulous approach and a wealth of knowledge, she empowers each patient to understand and manage their pain effectively, guiding them towards their goals.
