Functional Strength Training Classes at PHYX Newcastle

Our Functional Strength Training classes are Physio led, technique focused sessions designed to build strength that supports everyday movement, sport, and long term resilience.
These small group classes prioritise quality movement, intelligent loading, and clear coaching, rather than high intensity or rushed workouts. Each class follows structured programming to help you build strength progressively, improve confidence under load, and move with greater control. Functional Strength Training at PHYX is designed to complement Physiotherapy and Pilates, making it suitable for everyday movers, active individuals, and athletes alike.

One on One Strength Sessions
Individual strength training sessions delivered by our Physiotherapists, designed to support rehabilitation, performance, and long term movement health.
Strength Sessions are ideal if you are recovering from injury, returning to strength, managing ongoing concerns, or working toward specific performance goals. Programs are reviewed and progressed over time to ensure strength gains translate into better movement, confidence, and long term resilience.
